A message from the St Helens Fostering Team

Foster carers are not only needed within the borough of St Helens, but they are also needed nationwide.

Here in St Helens, we really need more foster carers to help look after the increasing number of children coming into care. As of August 2023, we currently have 488 children that we look after.

We want the children that we look after to be able to live within a family home, giving them a stable and secure environment, where they can flourish and achieve their dreams.

The fostering team has created a 'recruitment newsletter' in the hope of  catching the attention of new potential carers.
