St Bartholomew's

Catholic Primary School

EYFS New Parent Visit Information

Dear Child and Parent,

I am delighted to welcome you to St Bartholomew’s school.  We are so glad that you and your family chose to join our loving family. As a pupil you will learn lots, have fun and make new friends. As a parent, you will automatically gain membership to our Parent Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) and become part of our school community.

We look forward to meeting you in September and to help you settle in, there are a few visits that you are invited to. We hope you can come and play on Thursday 23rd June 3.30-4.30pm and Thursday 30th June 3.30-4.30pm. Parents can stay for a cup of tea/coffee, whilst children meet the teachers and the other children who will be starting school with you in Reception 2022. You are also invited to come for a visit on the morning Tuesday 5th July, further details will follow.

There will also be a meeting for parents to attend on the 11th May. Tea and coffee will be served from 4pm and our presentation will begin at 4.30pm. This will take place in the school hall. This meeting is just for grown-ups, as there will be lots of talking and information to be shared about school life.

We kindly ask Parents to reply by email to stbartholomew@sthelens.org.uk confirming acceptance of your place at our school. Once we have received confirmation, parents will receive an invite to join our school app. This is the method we use for communicating with parents and there will be lots of important information shared. The invite will be sent to the email address provided by you on the application form and will come from Parentapps; please follow the instructions to download.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Best wishes

M Lockley
