Faith in Action
Faith In Action Award
Faith in Action Award - CYMFED National Catholic Award Scheme
This year at St Bartholomew’s, our Year 6 pupils will take part in the Faith in Action Award.
Children in Year Six are invited to take part in the award, where they will work towards achieving their Pin Level.
Over the course of completing the award, pupils will help to plan Liturgies, Celebrations of the Word and complete practical actions to support our Catholic Ethos.
The Faith in Action award encourages young people through recognising, rewarding and celebrating their active faith lived out through service and reflection and helps them to connect their life and faith in a manner they understand and hold onto.
In journeying through the award, young people should experience a deepening of their relationship with God and find themselves exploring that relationship. It is hoped that through their relationship and action, others will see God's love through them, and it helps them to recognise how they can make a positive difference as young disciples of Christ.
The group are led by Mrs Forrest with the support of Sam, the Chaplain at De La Salle High School.
We look forward to accompanying our year 6 pupils as they complete this journey and share their experiences and faith with the rest of the school community.
